As a member that submits into your group. Might I make a suggestion to get you well organised?
I personally submit into over 300 groups and most of them will usually use the following format to deal with high submission rates that often come with spam and improper submissions:
1. 1 or 2 deviations per day limit (not per folder, in order to limit spam)
2. General folders instead of a folder for each deviants gallery. Most may join and never submit. Since this is a general art group I recommend the following names:
-Photography/Photomanips -Digital Art -Traditional Art -Crafts/Sculptures -Poetry -Prose -Fan Art and Fan Fics -Icons -Stamps -Comics -etc.
The general major group headings are up there and it makes it much easier for you to control what comes in and out of your group instead of worrying over who submits where. Then you can also focus on your own art and interact with the group more ^^
well we did the general and well did not work.. so thats why i changed the format to what it is now
and changed it to votes instead of auto accept but even then we were not getting the right kind of media for that folder.. instead it was mixed as in digital was photography for nature or it was traditional art drawings not in the digital media format
Well alright, but remember if you want to do votes it's a lot more work for you. I personally try to save myself the trouble and leave everything auto-accept but with imposed submission limits and checks to delete deviations that are not a part of the group. I generally find it easier haha
